Classic AK moderator. Caliber 5.45 version with increased internal volume.

The VR-A1 moderator is specifically designed for shortened versions of the AK rifle.
As you know, moderators that work well on the AK-74 and similar rifles do not always effectively suppress muzzle flash or reduce noise when used on shorter barrels like those found on the AKS-74U/AK-105 and their civilian counterparts. This is primarily due to the peculiarities of internal ballistics, namely the complete or partial absence of the second phase of firing. In short barrels, the gunpowder charge simply doesn't have enough time to burn completely. As a result, there is a strong flash and high pressure on the shooter.
Our product features an increased internal chamber volume, a two-stage design, and uses a special deflector combined with gas release for effective suppression without excessive lengthening of the weapon.
