This adapter is designed to accommodate telescopic stocks, thereby increasing the ergonomic comfort of the firearm. It consists of two parts: a tube and an adapter. This SVD stock converter is a non-folding unit, ensuring a rigid and reliable fit. The adapter mounts to the factory mounting points on the SVD receiver, and includes fastening screws. Attached to the adapter via a threaded connection is a "Commercial" standard tube (VR-C1) with seven threads. The adapter uses a UN1 3/16-16 thread commonly found on all tubes adhering to the American standard. It allows you to adjust the installed stock length in seven increments, each increment being 1.2 centimeters. The tip of the tube is capped with a rubber insert.
