A hand stop, also known as a handstopper, is a front grip for tactical forends with a Picatinny/Weaver rail, providing a support for the palm. The grip is used when holding the weapon in a sports grip, where the front hand is located close to the barrel. The stop prevents the hand from slipping or moving closer to the shooter. The product has a palm recess with anti-slip grooves.
