The Vector-7.62 VR-DTL Gen2 suppressor is designed to be installed on 7.62-caliber carbines with a bayonet mount. Due to the enclosed body, the sound of the shot is partially suppressed within the suppressor. An improved design allows for significantly more effective (compared to previous versions) reduction of sound impact on the shooter, which contributes to more comfortable operation, particularly in open areas. Powder gases exiting the barrel upon firing pass through the internal chamber of the suppressor. Due to the use of a two-chamber internal chamber and a segmented deflector, the probability of flash and exposure of the shooter is significantly reduced, and the design itself is gas-discharged. This simplifies cleaning and reduces the likelihood of powder gases entering the face. The suppressor is made of steel with sandblasting and oxidation treatment. A corrosion-resistant and chemically resistant coating significantly facilitates the maintenance and ensures the longevity of the device.
