The short, non-integrated Vector-7.62 "VR-DTL" silencer is designed to reduce muzzle flash and direct the sound of the gunshot forward (away from the shooter). It reduces the sound impact on the shooter and those around them to a comfortable level, allowing for firing without the use of hearing protection. The silencer is made of steel with sandblasting and oxidation treatment.
