Classic AK moderator. Caliber 7.62 version with increased internal volume.

The VR-A1 moderator was originally designed specifically for shortened versions of the AK rifle. It also works perfectly well with the 7.62 caliber.
As known, moderators that perform well on the AK-74 and similar rifles don't always adequately suppress muzzle flash or reduce noise on the shorter barrels of the AKS-74U/AK-105 and their civilian equivalents. This is mainly because of the specific characteristics of internal ballistics, particularly the complete or partial lack of the second stage of firing. The gunpowder charge simply does not have enough time to fully combust within a short barrel. Consequently, this results in significant muzzle flash and elevated acoustic pressure on the shooter.
A key feature of our product's construction is its enlarged internal chamber volume, using a dual-chamber system along with a specialized deflector coupled with gas venting. This provides effectiveness without excessively increasing the length of the firearm, and functions efficiently across both calibers.
